Marketing Manager

McLean Contracting Company is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in the Glen Burnie, MD area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies and exercises strategic thinking and leadership in pursuit of company goals.

Supports and interprets Company policies/procedures to personnel. At the same time, advocates for improved procedures when necessary.

Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, up and down the chain of command, and with customers, employees, and the public.

Maintains and updates branding for all McLean divisions- Construction, Smith, Shugart, Dredge, Diving, Traffic; and ensures consistent application of all McLean branding and marketing within various applications.

Designs, creates, and approves all printed materials, such as business cards, promotional items, marketing materials, etc.

Designs, creates, approves, and manages the McLean store and all other clothing options.

Assists preconstruction team with preparation of proposals to ensure winning presentations consistent with Owner requirements and McLean branding guidelines.

Maintains a consistent, positive presence with regular posts on all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.).

Coordinates with Human Resources team on job postings and related social media posts. Carries full responsibility for McLean website content.

Qualifications

Degree in Communications/Marketing or a related field and 5+ years of related experience. A combination of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience in heavy civil and marine construction and cost estimating is highly valued.

Other Skills and Abilities

Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation to work and able to pass a drug screen and criminal history background check.
