Rudee Inlet Bridge
This bridge project was for the construction of a 700-foot long x 46-foot wide bridge structure that spanned the Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This bridge is supported by 24-inch prestressed concrete square pile with a low water cap, column, and pier cap design for the channel spans. The superstructure design featured prestressed concrete girders and a cast-in-place deck. This project also included roadway and drainage improvements to Pacific Avenue and rehabilitation of the existing bridge deck surface with a Methacrylate crack sealer application.
