For this design build project McLean partnered with Moffatt & Nichol and the Owner Rukert Marine Terminal to delivery this project located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The design by Moffatt & Nichol included a heavy duty combination wall bulkhead which not only replaced the existing relieving platform,but extended the useable berth to 1145 feet.The deck was designed to accommodate Rukert’s heavy cargo handling cranes and Ro-Ro operations.The contract also included concrete and timber demolition, excavation/backfill and dredging to elevation -50 feet.
