Lake Marburg is 1,275 acre fresh water reservoir used by Pixelle for paper product production. McLean was subcontracted by Alltech Engineering Corporation for the repairs and inspections of both 30” and 48” intake pipelines. This work was completed using surface decompression diving in depths of 100ft and included sediment removal, bulkhead fabrication and installation, and sluice gate inspections and repairs. Final inspections were performed with an ROV. The work platform was sectional Shugart barges from our Smith Brothers marine rental company.
